Gigolo Aunts Back After Long Lay-Off - Sept. 22 1999
GIGOLO AUNTS, the Boston-based quartet best known in the UK for their 1994 hit 'Where I Find My Heaven', release their first album for six years next month.
The group, who went through several label and personnel upheavals since their 1993 long-playing debut 'Flippin' Out', have spent most of the last year supporting the likes of Matthew Sweet and Counting Crows on lengthy US tours.
To coincide with the arrival of the new album, the group, who named themselves after their favourite Syd Barrett track, play two shows at the Water Rats in King's Cross, London, on October 11 and 12.
'Where I Find My Heaven' became a Top 30 hit for the band after featuring in the Jim Carrey movie Dumb & Dumber and is also used as the theme music to the BBC sitcom Game On.
